What is indian colour?

Posted September 06, 2019 09:50:13Indie film star Talash Nandakumar, a director and producer of the critically acclaimed indie film Bambu, has told NDTV that indies should be more proactive and open minded in their approach to the film industry.

She says the industry needs to get over its “sickness” and become more inclusive.

“I believe that we are at a turning point now, and indies are ready to take a big step in the right direction,” she said.

She added that filmmakers need to be more open minded to the industry.

“If you don’t open up and talk to your audience, then your film doesn’t resonate,” Nandapurkar said.

“But you can’t stop yourself from talking to the audience.

If you have a great story, you will get feedback.”

The 35-year-old actress has been working in film and TV for a decade.

She won the Best Actress Oscar in the 2009 film Bollywood-Bollywood.
