The first major Indian film, The Karamchari Express, was released in 1985.

It was a remake of the 1939 film The Karamooshi, and it stars Rajinikanth, Anil Kapoor, Shatrughan Sinha, and Naseeruddin Shah.

It is considered the first film in Indian cinema.

Another hit, The Bijliya, was made in 1989.

It stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Rishi Kapoor and Anjali Soni.

The film is an adaptation of a novel by Rishi Subramaniam, and was directed by Vicky Shrivastava.

Another classic film, Moolam, made its way to theatres in 1991.

It starred Amitabhi, Anjaneet Bedi, Rishabh Pant, Sunita Chopra, Shabana Azmi and Ranbir Kapoor.

It also stars Amit Bhandarkar.

In 1996, Anurag Kashyap directed the film The Rival.

However, the film was released only in the States.

In the US, the producers of The Babadyuk were forced to release the film in India in 2007.

However the movie failed to take off in India and is now being screened only in South America.
