Teatro Federico Fortuna Turin (TFF) is an independent film company founded in 2006.
The company’s first film was a documentary entitled Teatro Sondri, in which Fortunació Turin tells the story of the birth of Turin in 1848.
Turin is also a prominent figure in Italian art and cinema, with works such as Tasso’s The Marriage of Figaro, Don Quixote, and Rimbaud’s Les Hommes de la Grande Illusion.
In 2008, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Film and won the Grand Prix d’Elegance for Best Original Film.
The Teatro company currently employs around 70 people, mostly from the Turin region of Italy.
The director’s last film, Tàs è una Tài (Truly a Woman), was released in Italy in 2013.
It was followed by a television series called Tà Sí, which premiered in 2014.
In 2018, the Teatro director was diagnosed with cancer.
